Broken
Bow, Nebraska tornado on June 6, 2007
2007
was characterized by a high risk bust (what else happens when you
have SPC high risk anyway?) in eastern Iowa on June 7. But on June
6 we pulled a rabbit out of our hat by witnessing the only tornado
in Nebraska northwest of Broken Bow. The spin up was brief and it
quickly became a dust cloud on outflow. We also had a good supercell near Odessa, Texas on
Sunday, June 2 but it gusted out rather quickly.
