Robotman: Monty and the librarian, part 4

Description

Monty and Robotman are in the library, sitting at a table. Monty tells Robotman, "I found out the new librarian's name is 'Emily.'"

Robotman replies, "Oh... So that's why we're here. I was wondering why the sudden interest in books..."

"What? You think...?", Monty gasps. "No! No! I'm not here just because of Emily... I'm here to broaden my horizons and immerse myself in the classics... Now if you'll excuse me, I have some reading to do..."

In the last frame, we see the book that Monty is trying to read. The picture on the frontispiece looks curiously like Emily, standing on a ship's deck in sailor's gear, harpoon in hand, with a whale behind her. The visible text reads:

Comments

Well, at least he was making an honest effort with his cover story. Although Moby-Dick is not what I would recommend for someone trying to become familiar with the classics. (Okay, I'm prejudiced. Herman Melville is nowhere near my favorite author.)
