Welcome to our Web site!  We here display information about our family.  Linda and I are currently busy working oops, playing around at our new place on Soos Creek.  (If it were somebody else's place, we'd call it work, but it's ours and it's pure fun!)  So if you can't catch us on the phone, email us. 

Latest News:   Another Garcia?

Sara and Matt had a healthy baby boy on May 15, 2000 after a bit of a struggle. His name is Benjamin Matthew Garcia, and boy is he ever a good looking kid!  The latest news is that they are expecting another child - maybe in April 2002!

Ryan loved his work in Guatemala.  He finish up there - by getting med-evac'd to  Fort Lauderdale then sat around Washington DC before returning home. Got some graduate studies done and worked for Microsoft before returning to Guatemala with Crisis Corps. He worked mainly with Red Cross in the Rio Hondo area, and got back up to Tutuapa for a grand reunion/goodby before finishing up and going on down to Chile in February 2001.

Although a cancer diagnosis for Linda delayed our big trip plans, we did finally make our trip to Guatemala in April. If you're interested, click here for Linda's Guatemala Trip Report

The 'final inspection' of our new home occurred 4/4/00 (finally!) so now we're legal occupants.  We are really enjoying the place, with Linda keeping busy digging holes in the yard then filling them up (with plants) and I'm trying to finish the entertainment center and the garage. Come see us!
