STANFORD BASEBALL
Texas scored three runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to tie Stanford, 7-7 in a game called due to time constraints. The Cardinal had a plane to catch and as the Longhorns were rallying, it was decided that the fifth would be the last inning. Starter Chad Hutchinson (4IP,6R,6H,4BB,6K) did not have his best stuff today and the defense committed four errors. Offensively, John Gall, Nick Day and Edmund Muth each went 2 for 3 with the big blow being Muth's three-run double in the third inning. Tony Cogan pitched 1/3 of an inning and Justin Wayne finished up as Texas scored the tying run on a Stanford error.
