About the List
The Caving Self Rescue Discussion List is an international e-mail list. It was created for the discussion of any and all topics relating to self rescue. Suggested topics of discussion are: self rescue techniques, course curriculum, equipment, philosophy, politics, wilderness medicine, and accidents. The list is an e-mail reflector. Sending an article to the list will cause it to be sent to everyone else on the list. An archive of articles is available to members at:

Joining the List
Use the subscription box to subscribe, or send an empty message to:
self_rescue-subscribe@egroups.com
The list software will ask you to reply with a confirmation. It will then send a message to your e-mail address with a confirmation number. You will need this number to log in to the list archive for the first time. After reciept of the confirmation message, you may post articles to the list. All new articles will automatically be sent to your e-mail address.
