Dick & Jean Hoffman - the local bird scene - 2005 Gulls

This first winter Iceland Gull (presumably Kumlein's race because of the black base of the bill) landed on the fishing pier amidst Herring Gulls. Unintimidated by Dick's approach to within 20 feet of it, it selected a choice gizzard shad and proceeded to gulp it down.
