Cleveland Area Birding Site Guide
This is a birding site guide for locations in the general commuting
area of Cleveland, Ohio, and for some of our favorite places farther
afield. As might be expected, many of the sites are located along the
Lake Erie shore. If you know of a site you would like included, send
an e-mail and I'll add it; better still, send me a site description and
I'll include appropriate attribution. The Delorme notations are the
page number and horizontal and vertical coordinates needed to locate
the site in Delorme Mapping Company's Ohio Atlas & Gazetteer. The
Ohio Ornithological Society, on its web site at http://www.
ohiobirds.org maintains a state-wide site guide but its descriptions are somewhat
lacking so this site will continue to be maintained.
