********************************************************** Among the papers of Callie Evans Herrington, my grandmother, (1886-1975) (Pedigree Chart #1) there were some genealogical profiles written by the late Dr. Bonner Frizzell of Palestine, Texas, in which he stated that Merritt Cely of Virginia was the father of John W. Cely. This has not yet been proven, but is included in the above chart.
