My cookie list....

Recently, I have started offering cookies as bribes. It serves a dual purpose. First, it rewards people who are helpful to me. Second, it gives me something to do that has tangible (not to mention edible) results. When nothing else is going right, it is a relief to know that I can still make good chocolate chip cookie bars.

So when I started to look for a house, I knew that I would be elbow-deep in peanut butter, oatmeal, and/or chocolate chips. I haven't done any baking yet; that will wait until I have the key in my hot little fist.

Right now, I'm making my lists....

People who will get cookies:
My two realtors
My two mortgage brokers
My attorney and his paralegal

People who will not get cookies:
Fridaywoman at the condo management office

People who will probably get cookies:
My first mortgage person (not his fault that I had to use someone else)
My first realtor (who still hasn't gotten back to me, but who was helpful when I was first looking - and, hey, my current realtors work for the same company)
