
This picture shows the yttrium iron garnet sphere up close. Just to the left of the sphere
is the transistor. Over the sphere is the coupling inductor.

Note the size of the surface mount capacitors in comparison to the circuit itself. The
capacitor to the left is a filter capacitor for the power supply and the capacitor on the
right is a bypass cap.

The thick film resistor is trimmed by opening up shorting wires. The resistor to the

This is just an ordinary three terminal voltage regulator (very similar to 78xx series).
