Astronaut Trail Shell Club

Founded in 1966, the ATSC brings together those who have a special interest
in marine - land - freshwater - fossil shells...amateur, professional or artistic.

Meetings

The club meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month, 7:30 PM at the
Satellite Beach Community Center, 565 Cassia Boulevard, Satellite Beach, FL

Activities

Activities include amateur and professional presentations on shells, collecting field trips
for marine-land-freshwater-fossil shells and information exchange related to molluscs.

Membership

Membership is $12.50/year - individual or $15.00/year - family.

Shell Show

The club hosts a shell show every year the 3rd/4th week of January, with exhibits
(scientific and craft), awards, auctions, shell dealers and programs. See the Show

Newsletter

Our club newsletter "The Capsule " is published and distributed 10 times
a year to members and exchanged with other shell clubs and museums.

Malacological Grants

The ATSC awards, yearly, educational grants for malacological research.

Conchologists of America [COA]

The COA's Club Representative Program endeavors to assist shell clubs in any way it can and to foster interclub communication.

The ATSC is a participating member of the Conchologists of America Club Representative
