Fellow Shell Enthusiasts:
The Astornaut Trail Shell Club will be celebrating 30 years of Shell
Festivals this weekend. The
gift for the 30th Anniversary is Pearls. So
we are using that as a theme.
There are several new categories in the rules...so be sure to read them
over carefully.
A continental breakfast will be awaiting you as you arrive to set up
your display on Friday Morning, January 15 at
8 a.m.
If you want to bring your exhibit in on
Thursday Evening around
8 p.m.
you may do that, but you will only have an hour to work on it. Many like to
get the exhibit out of their vehicles the night before.
The banquet will be at the NCO club.
The food and accomodations are always good there.
Other highlights include some of the best dealers in the world, a
silent auction on Saturday and Sunday in the hospitality room, hourly door
prizes, raffle items, Kids Korner , the Sand-Flea Market and much more.
After last years poor attendance and terrible coverage by our newspaper
we are going to find some new fresh ways to promote our show.
Unfortunately, the rent on our auditorium has gone up so we feel we
need to charge an admittance fee again to cover it and prices for advertising.
We will keep it at a minimum.
