Lane Community College Library

Enthusiastic and creative individual is sought for Library Director at one 
of the top 10 community colleges in US. Situated in Eugene, Oregon, a 
university town of 120,000 in the rural Willamette Valley, just 50 miles 
from Pacific Ocean, 30 miles from Cascade Mountains. Ideal climate, 
progressive community, great recreational opportunities, excellent 
educational environment. 

LCC Library serves 37,000 students, 240 college faculty; 70,000 volumes, 
highly automated, Innovative Interfaces system, 13 staff incl. 4 faculty,

Requires: MLS and at least four years professional library experience, two 
of which must be recent successful and progressively responsible 
administration or coordination experience. Strong interpersonal skills, 
participatory management style, thorough knowledge of current technologies. 
Salary $46,475 - $62,929. In addition to salary, an excellent fringe 
benefit package is provided including a $400 per month annuity.
