An Evercel NiZn transplant

I converted my 1985 VW Cabrio in 1993/94 using a kit from ElectroAutomotive. The car's electric life began with an Advanced DC 8" motor, 96volts of Trojan 145 lead acid batteries, and a Curtis 1221 controller. It evolved to 20 Optima Yellow Tops and a Curtis 1231. Now it is evolving to 20 Evercel NiZn MB80 batteries. This web page shows that latest progression. Hopefully it may be of help to some of you also considering NiZn for your EV's.

While I now know some of the Evercel guys, and like them, I am not related to them nor is this site approved by them.
