Lesson 7
This week, we've looked at 書く and 書いた, write and wrote. Today, we look at 書こう, let's write. Because Japanese is so regular, this is pretty easy.

| 書いた | 行った | 聞いた | 引いた | 巻いた | 焼いた |
| 書こう | 行こう | 聞こう | 引こう | 巻こう | 焼こう |
| Let's write | Let's go | Let's ask | Let's pull | Let's roll up | Let's cook |
Then, a か can be added to the end of ーこう to get "Shall we --?" or "Shall I --?"
| 書こうか | 行こうか | 聞こうか | 引こうか | 巻こうか | 焼こうか |
| Shall I/we write? | Shall I/we go? | Shall I/we ask? | Shall I/we pull? | Shall I/we roll up? | Shall I/we cook? |
