ABC

ABC's slogan for Fall 1980 was "You & Me & ABC." They promoted their new fall lineup with promos featuring the new ABC stars all performing in a big song and dance number, singing the "You & Me & ABC" song (or, more accurately, lip-syncing.)

CBS

CBS, whose 1979-80 slogan was "Looking Good," slightly modified it for the 80-81 season, changing it to "Looking Good Together." They had a series of promos where stars of CBS shows would come into the lives of CBS viewers. In the main promo, all the stars and viewers sing the "Looking Good Together" song, and people at home could sing along by following the bouncing CBS eye.

NBC

With NBC's current brand identity, it may surprise you to know that NBC has made more radical changes to its logo than ABC and CBS combined. In the fall of 1979, the third place network introduced a new logo, bringing back the peacock from the 60s (revised, of course) and placed it over an outline of their trademark "N" from the 70s. Along with the new logo was the slogan "Proud as a Peacock," which carried through to the 80-81 season. Their image promos in 1980 consisted mostly of quick clips from shows, bogus behind-the-scenes shots, and dancers.
