my friend recently told me that I was so me that I wasn't me. upon asking him to explain, he told me that I was so used to questioning the norm, so used to challenging reality, so open minded that I was the opposite extreme of close minded. an "anti-conservitive". that if I came across something conservative, I would say.. "oh, no, I can't like that.. it's too conservative." so used to being "away from the herd" that in a way, I had, without realizing it, formed my own herd. it not mattering that I am the one furry/esque creature in my herd... the point is, I'm in one. his observation makes me think. "there's only one thing we hate more than racists, and that's spicks!!" - unknown |
