evidence: Statistical probability of a "group" hoax is the product of the probability of each, taken individually. p(hoax) = .00001 for each time the "group" took the lie-detector tests. They took the tests at least two separate times, by at least two equipment operators. Total probability is p1*p2 = 0. ( I used a conservative p = .1 as the probability of someone successfully lying on the poly-test. Also, is useful to note here that the polygraph test, although not admissable as evidence in court, is used regularly by law enforcement as a tool through which to gain working leads and hypotheses leading to successful arrests and convictions. Hence, the polygraph test is NOT here proposed as conclusive evidence, but certainly it is acceptable enough to provide physical support for the gathered testimony. )
Therefore, there was NO hoax being perpetrated
by the "group" involved. The evidence is the lie detector records,
and the historical accounts by those present. This is hard, measurable
evidence which supports the "group" descriptions as given. There
is TRUTH here. Was it alien? Was it extraterrestrial?
The Westchester Wing (1984)...
"Hudson Valley Sightings"
... in New York in the 1980's
The local was Brewster NY, 1984... Multiple
sightings over period of weeks. Large Delta
shape... illegal lighting
configuration, and colors. Research was lead
by J.Allen Hynek. ( It was his last gig. )
Broad spectrum witness-profile, multiples and
singles, upstanding citizens. No sound, low
flyer... lit up like a christmas tree... all
illegal.
It was during
this set of event reports that Whitley Strieber claims to have been experiencing
abduction/contacts.

1997: The Phoenix Lights Case (March 13th...)
Researched by Bill Hamilton, heavily testimonied, and video taped.
Testimonies were collected, and triangulated to reveal the 3D model-track
of a giant UFO manuvering above a long track of Arizona territory.
...
The POINT is TRIANGULATION. The testimonies
were carefully collected, and the content was
triangulated. This, along with the many
videos of the incidents, is hard, measurable evidence
which supports the descriptive contents of the
testimonies. NOT absolute proof, but definitive
and enough to draw a vehicular-ufo conjecture.
WASHINGTON D.C. 1952
On July 19,1952
a formation of seven "blips" entered the restricted airspace over the
White House.
One week later, on July 26,1952 the "blips" again appeared, prompting the
Air Force
to vector two F-94s toward the objects. In a CIA memo dated July 28,1952
to
the Deputy
Director/Intelligence from Ralph L. Clark, Acting Assistant Director of
Scientific
Intelligence
stated: "In the past several weeks numerous UFOs have been sighted visually
and on RADAR."
On August
1, 1952 there was another CIA memo - this time from the acting Chief of
Weapons
and Equipment Division which said in part "It is strongly urged, however,
that no
indication
of CIA interest or concern reach the press or public."
The government
ended their investigation of these sightings after taking the position
that
they were
nothing more than radar mirages caused by temperature inversions...even
though there
were visual confirmations of many of the radar images.
Noteworthy: Numerous reports of visual sightings, AND two seperate radars' records ( military, and civil radar ). This is testimony, and evidence... a clear measure of truth is present.
Question regarding the temperature inversion theory: Are there more incidents of the same nature and description available from any time previous to, or since these 1952 incidents that can be considered in support of the theory?
2nd question regarding the temperature inversion
theory: Are there any incidents
of the same nature and description available from any other city, or airport
facilities anywhere in the world that can be considered in support of the
theory?
