Hi everyone,

Welcome back to Miller's Mysteries. For those of you who have only
recently found these pages, please make sure you explore, and have fun.

In the spirit of Halloween, the pumpkins are out on the porch, the mums
are in full bloom, the ground is covered with leaf-color blankets, and
magic is in the air.

Well in politics all seems to be in basically the same, scary
activities that gets the attention of the rest of us.

Giuliani leads Republicans, Sen. Craig won't resign due to his public
men's room sex sting escapade, and, so far, it looks like it's slick
willy's, non-principle, no-stand-on-anything wife, Hillary
Rodham-and-Gamora Clinton who's way out in front for 2008. Let's see,
am I surprised? Nope. But, am I scared?
You remember 'slick Willy' right? The former president whose "little
black book", I've heard tell, has a "yellow pages" section!

What are these scientists up to!!

Let's see... in the wonderful world of spend-the-taxpayer's-money, we
have a few choice morsels from our scientists.
They've found that crows bend twigs into tools to find food. This is a
headline folks. Seriously, I suppose there's some kind of
evolution-thing with this one.

And, on the global warming bruhaha, the nerds have observed that
walruses abandon ice for the Alaska shore. I guess the animals are on
thin ice.

There's the recent news that our friendly white-jackets, have tweeked
the genes in worms to make 'lesbian' worms. Ok, are 'lesbian' worms
better eating, or something? Are they bigger? Do they catch more
fish? **My first impression to this news was: I'm sure Dumbledore is to
blame somehow.

And now from Space.Com...

Defect Suspected in Fabric of Space-Time

Eddies in the space-time continuum? Scientists think that shortly after
the Big Bang, as the universe cooled and expanded, exotic particles
transformed into the particles we know today via phase transitions
similar to the gas-liquid-solid transitions that matter now experiences
on Earth. One artifact of this may be an enormous 'cold spot'.

**What Big Bang? And, what exotic particles? Are these 'scientists'
refering to klingons? And, yep, it's cold in space... there are
plently of cold spots to go around. So, how can we fix it? I've have
two words...

Duct tape. It'll be a stretch to make any political money out of
this.... it's just too far away for anyone to be made to be fearful of,
like they are doing with global warming.

Well then, whew! If one reads carefully enough, one can find plenty of
stories here upon which you can apply your magical tricks. So without
further ado, have a great season, don't forget to change your clocks,
and wear your seat belts.

Well, the Miller's Mysteries Website has been in operation for several years. This VESPERS Forum has been posted since April of 98. Changes are under way on this website... I'm bringing the content around to provide a suitable brochure, and booking-information framework for my MathMagic Presentation of TESSERACT!! In the spring of 1999 and again in November of 2001, I was afforded the opportunities to give the performance section of the total work, and they seem to have been successful... according to feedback from audience members. There was a video shoot of the first performance which might have a chance of being edited and prepared for distribution. I'll keep you posted on that, if you're interested.

The total web-presence of the Miller's Mysteries Website includes one of the coolest Magic Clubs on Yahoo called "Conjuror" with more than One Hundred and Forty members. Please do visit the CONJUROR while it is still up at Yahoo. If you're interested in Magic, you'll find some very interesting pieces written in the message archives there. Although we have had better days, and chats at the club, things seem to have quieted down to a mere trickle. Yahoo is changing the clubs over to "groups", and I don't know how much of the original files will remain intact. We'll all have to wait and see, I guess.
