(JEA) C. ROUGH TRANSLATION: Romans 10:1-15
1 On the one hand, brothered-ones, the good will of my heart and the (my) prayer toward God on their (= Israel's) behalf is toward the goal of their salvation, 2 for I bear witness to them that they have the zeal of God, but not according to understanding (Gr. "epignosis"); 3 for being ignorant regarding the righteousness of God and seeking to establish the independent righteousness, they did not strike a supportive posture toward the righteousness of God. 4 For the goal (Gr. "telos") of the law is Christ for righteousness to every believing one.
5 For Moses writes regarding the righteousness, the kind (coming) out of the law, that "the human being having done these things shall live in them."
6 On the other hand, the righteousness (coming) out of faith speaks in this way: " do not say in your heart, who shall go up into heaven?" That is, to lead Christ utterly downward; 7 or, "who shall descend utterly into the abyss?" That is, to lead Christ up out of the dead (ones). 8 But what does it say: "the word is near you (sing.) in your (sing.) mouth and in your (sing.) heart, that is, the word of faith which we are preaching. 9 Because if you (sing.) confess in your (sing.) mouth the Lord Jesus and you (sing.) believe in your (sing.) heart that God raised him from the dead (ones) you (sing.) shall be saved. 10 For by means of the heart it is believed (Gr. "pisteuetai" 3rd. p. sing. m/p ind.) into righteousness and by means of the mouth it is confessed (Gr. "homologeitai" 3rd. p. sing. m/p ind.) into salvation. 11 For scripture says, "Everyone placing believing confidence upon him shall not be ashamed." 12 For there is no difference both of Jew and of Greek, for the same Lord is of all, that one being rich into all the ones calling on him for help (Gr. = pres. mid. ptc). 13 "For everyone who might call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
14 Therefore, how might they call upon into whom they did not believe? And how might they believe of whom they did not hear? And how might they hear without a preaching one?
15 And how might they preach if they might not be sent (apostolically = t.t.?)? Just as it is written, "how beautiful (Gr. in season, timely) are the feet of the ones gospelling good things!"
