"CONGRATULATIONS!
You caugh the Fish!"
The image on the right is the fish (Greek: ikthys) symbol used to represent
Jesus in the Middle Ages.
A good Italian priest, Fr. Fabio Bartoli,
gave me this image and he explained:
"IKTHYS" is fish in Greek. It was assumed by the early christians as a
symbol for Jesus because in this word they saw the acronym for "Iesous
Kristos THeos Uious Sother" (Jesus Christ Son of God Saviour). So where it
was forbidden to use the name of Jesus or to draw the imagine of the cross,
they drew a fish.
