Career Highlights
Signed by the A's in late 1989 but didn't play in the system until 1990. ... Averaged better than a K per inning in 1990 at Madison. ... Became a starter the following year at Modesto, posting a 13-6 mark after splitting time between there and AA Hunstville. ... Went back to the bullpen in '92 at Huntsville, going 3-8 in 44 games. ... Made the jump to Oakland for the '93 season, working as a starter and reliever until a shoulder injury ended his year. ... Picked up his first major league win at Yankee Stadium. ... Began 1994 in Modesto, rehabbing his shoulder. ... Eventually worked his way back to Oakland for one start, which he lost. Traded to the St. Louis Cardinals in 1999, the Cleveland Indians in 2000, the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2001, and the Baltimore Orioles organization in 2002.
