Philippine National Bank's Rapid Remit Facility

PNB's Rapid Remit facility is operated through one of the Bank's international and domestic (RP) network of computers. PNB New York uses this facility to access and post transactions on-line and in real-time to its clients' deposit accounts.

This facility provides the swiftest and most secure way of sending money to the Philippines. The moment the remittance processor at PNB New York Branch commits the transaction from his/her computer terminal, the deposit account in the Philippines is instantaneously credited with the proceeds of the remittance. There is no faster way to remit funds to the Philippines.

A moment after the deposit account is credited from PNB New York's computer, therefore, your payee or designated beneficiary in the Philippines can either withdraw the funds from the paying branch in the Philippines or else withdraw funds via any PNB or MegaLink Automated Tellering Machine (ATM).

It must be noted though that remittances can be processed through the Rapid Remit facility only if the payee or designated beneficiary in the Philippines has a deposit account with an on-line PNB Branch in the Philippines. For those who send money to someone in the Philippines on a regular basis, it is advantageous for the payee or beneficiary to maintain an account with a PNB Branch in the Philippines.

A remittance cannot be processed via PNB's Rapid Remit facility if the payee or beneficiary in the Philippines does not maintain a deposit account with a PNB Branch in the Philippines.

Following is a list of Rapid Remit On-Line Branches in the Philippines and overseas:
