Berkeley Prep is a High School located in Tampa Florida.
In 1994 the Buccaneers replaced their head coach with Clyde Keller. Keller
was a pitcher for Florida State during the 1985-86 seasons. This included an
appearance in the College World Series. Prior to this experience Clyde
played for Junior College World Series bound Sac-City Junior College
in the Sacremento area. Clyde played proffesional baseball after his
college days, but due to serious arm injury was forced to hang the
cleats up. Upon joining the Bucs instant improvement was seen. After a
promising 94 season which ended in District losses to MCC and SPC the Bucs
completed the '95 season 22-5 including a birth the THE
FLORIDA STATE 3A HIGH SCHOOL STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS held annaully in
Sarasota Fl. The 1996 Bucs have recently completed another season
yet the results weren't as pleasing as the Bucs fell to once again
future state champions Tampa Catholic. This next season is one of
great anticipation. A solid crop of seniors and young talent the Bucs are looking
to capitalize on this season. Besides this is my last year as well.
