From I-10, take exit # 103 (A or B as appropriate) onto I-49, heading North. Evangeline Throughway becomes I-49
after it passes under I-10. Proceed North on I-49 about 11 miles to the Sunset / Grand Coteau Exit # 11.
At the bottom of the ramp, bear to the right onto LA 93. In less than a mile, it appears that the road is running right
into a Chevron gas station. As you get closer, you'll see that the road turns rather sharply to the left, going around
the station. Follow LA 93 around the station and keep bearing right. This road straightens out and
becomes what passes for Grand Coteau's main street, named Martin Luther King Drive. You'll pass an auto salvage yard
on the right. Just a short ways beyond, also on the right, is a low rise green clapboard building with a covered sidewalk
that looks like it was a hardware store in another lifetime. You've just found Catahoula's Restaurant - one of the finest eating
establishments in Acadiana.
Just across the street under the stately oaks draped with Spanish Moss, is the Jesuit Saint Charles College.
Just down the road is the Academy of the Sacred Heart, the site of the only miracle in the USA acknowledged by the Vatican.
