From Lafayette, take I-10 East to the Henderson Exit, #115. At the bottom of the ramp, turn right
and immediately get into the left turn lane. Turn left onto LA 352 directly behind the truck stop.
Proceed on LA 352 until you cross over a bridge (about 2.3 miles) and dead end into the back of the levee which surrounds the Atchafalaya Basin Swamp.
At this intersection on the left is Pat's Fisherman's Wharf Restaurant. Turn right onto the road at the base of the levee - the Levee Road.
Proceed on the Levee Road several miles until you see a sign reading "Angelle's Whiskey River Landing".
Note that you will pass other signs pointing to other places with the term "Landing" in them. At the Angelle's sign,
turn left onto the gravel drive that angles up and over the levee. Angelle's is on the far side of the levee
and extends out over the water.
Use caution on the Levee Road. There are no buildings or lights along it and it is extremely dark.
It's also rather desolate and you might think you have traveled past the edge of civilization, which in this part of Louisiana
is a definite possibility.
