II What Does the Second Timeline of Daniel 12 say?
The Papacy is Known by Various Names in Scripture.
"The Little Horn." Dan. 7:8,21,24-26, and 8:9-13, 23-25.
"The Transgression of Desolation." Dan. 8:13.
"The Abomination that maketh Desolate [persecutes and destroys]."
Dan. 11:31, 12:11, and Matt. 24:15.
"He" [a pronoun]. Dan. 12:7.
"The King of the North." Dan. 11:40-45.
"The Man of Sin." II Thess. 2:3.
"The Son of Perdition." II Thess. 2:3.
"The Antichrist." I John 2:18.
"The Beast." Rev. 13-20.
In Dan. 11:31 and 12:11, the Papacy is called, "the abomination
that maketh desolate." Dan. 12:11, says that the "abomination" or
Papacy will be "set up" or established, and it will reign for 1290 literal days.
Rev. 13 says that it will reign over "all the world." Dan.
12:11 also says:
"And from the time the daily... is taken away, and the
abomination [Papacy] that maketh desolate [persecutes and destroys] is set up
[established], [it will reign] and there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety [1290]
days [ until he "shall come to his end and none shall help him." Dan.
11:45]." Dan. 12:11.
Dan. 12:11 explains that Gods people must start counting
out the 1290 day timeline "from {the specific] time" that the
"daily
is taken away." That is, when the "daily
is taken
away," at that very same time, the "abomination that maketh desolate" will
be "set up" or established. But what is the "daily"? When and how will
it be "taken away." The saints cannot know when to start counting
out the 1290 day timeline until the "daily
taken away" is understood. This
is the subject of the next chapter.
What Does the Third Timeline of Dan. 12:12 say?
"Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the
thousand three hundred and five and thirty days." Dan. 12:12.
This is called "The 1335 day WAIT." Gods
people simply wait out the final crisis. They will count it out day by day, waiting for
their final deliverance from the wicked. They are waiting for a very special "blessing,"
that is, "Blessed is he that waiteth." The event which
