XIV. Daniel 12:11 Rapidly Approaches Fulfillment.
Today, the United States of America has already laid aside its
sovereignty by closing military bases and placing the military under the United
Nations forces. (Review p. 14.) Other nations are following. Today, Dan. 12:11 is nearing
its complete fulfillment when, on some future occasion, the Pope will be enthroned as Head
of the New World Order or Government. At that time the "Holy Father" will rule
from the "Holy City," and he will be given the title, "Prince of
peace" to sit and rule in "The City of Peace"Old Jerusalem."
Dan. 11:45.
XV. Where Will Daniel 12:11 Be Fulfilled?
"And he [The Papacy] shall plant the tabernacles of his palace
between the seas in the glorious holy mountain, yet he shall come to his end and none
shall help him." Dan. 11:45.
What are "his tabernacles"? Where is "the glorious holy
mountain"? Between what "seas" will he establish his reign? Is the meaning
symbolic, or literal, and, or spiritual?
The word, "tabernacles," refers to a place of worship, and is
therefore "spiritual," but the Pope has already declared that old Jerusalem
shall be the place of worship for all nations. It must be
remembered that the entire book of Daniel is the story of the rise and fall of empires,
and refers to their literal capitols, such as: Jerusalem in chapter 1, Shushan, the
palace, in Medo-Persia in Dan. 8:2, and Daniel 11 is a continuation of the same political
emphasis and focus of the book.
What and where is the "glorious holy mountain"? While it is true that the
reign of the future seventh empire, Papal Supremacy No. 2, will absorb and affect all
religions, and rule all churches, including all their institutions and structures,
it will not rule the final "remnant which keep the commandments
