of God and have the faith of Jesus." Rev. 12:17. It will
not penetrate that group of sealed and holy people. It will not place
"the tabernacles of his palace" in that "church"!
Then what is the "glorious holy mountain"? All seven empires,
spoken of in the book of Daniel, have established a geographical capitol or seat
of government in a specific location. The seventh empire or One World Government ruled
by Papal head will also establish its capitol in a geographical location. Daniel prayed
three times a day, facing Jerusalem. In his mind, old Jerusalem was the "glorious
holy mountain," or Mt. Zion, on which the sacred temples were built.
Between what seas is old Jerusalem located? The language of Daniel 11
is not symbolic. Although it gives kings titles, there is no symbolism in the text.
"Seas" do not, in this chapter, represent people. Rather, the seas are literal
bodies of water with geographical locations. The seven seas which surround old Jerusalem
are as follows: The Mediterranean Sea, The Caspian Seas, The Red Sea, The Black Sea, The
Dead Sea, The Persian Gulf, and The Sea of Galilee.
The book of Daniel is very specific so that Gods people will
understand many things in regard to the final crisis. They will know the identity of the
"beast," and exactly how long he will reign (1290 literal days). They will know
where his capitol will be located and what will bring his empire to its end. Dan. 12:11
enables Gods people, once they see the events occur which begin these three
timelines, to count it all out so that they will walk in the light of Gods prophetic
Word every step of the way through the final crisis. Praise God.
"We have also a more sure word of prophecy: whereunto ye do well
that ye take heed as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day
dawn, and the day star [Jesus] arise in your hearts:" II Pet.
1:19.
