Koni 28 Series Coil-overs Photographs below are of Koni 28 Series of coil-overs for the front and rear of the M coupe. Koni 28 Series of shocks are bump and rebound adjustable, both have 8 positions of adjustment. All of the 28 Series of Koni Shocks are custom built per the application. The photos below show the Koni 2817 struts for the front and 2812 shocks for the rear. The front strut is your basic style of strut for the M coupe and mounts to the car at the standard lower strut mounts. The top of the strut attaches to a Caster/Camber Plate which uses a mono-ball to position the strut. The rear shocks are setup as a true coil-over. The shocks are attached to the stock mounting points via mono-balls at top and bottom of the shock using the stock lower mounting bolt and an a mono-ball upper shock mount adapter that bolts to the underside of the stock upper mount location using the stock mounting holes.
