BMW Motorsport Strut Brace Picture below shows that the BMW Motorsport Strut Brace can be fitted to an M coupe. The traction control trottle body has been moved to a different location due to the intercooled supercharger setup. The M coupe in the photo does have a light weight CF hood and checking with clay the length of the brace about 3/4" high, closed the hood, looks like every bit of 1/2" to 3/4" clearance. The brace does clear the throttle position sensor by every bit of a 1/2". Earth terminal was removed from passenger strut tower. Note: The BMW Motorsport Strut Brace will not work on a M coupe
that has a factory hood. Top view
