People I Know

Here are some links to the web pages of various friends and family.  This list is far from complete!

Wyrdhaven/Tanglewood Online

This is my brother Steve and sister-in-law Colleen’s home page.  They like ferrets, and my brother also has a very cool page on computer game AI.

The Sea Nymph's Home Page

Lisa (aka Nymph) is a good friend of mine I met in 1990 over the Internet (on MUDs, to be exact).  Nymph and I had a rocky relationship at first, and we had a falling out in 1991.  In 1994 we rekindled our friendship while I was working for Netcom (an early ISP that later became part of Mindspring and then Earthlink) and she was working for PSINet (another ISP).  I couldn’t convince her to move out to California to work for Netcom but she did come out for a visit and we’ve been close friends ever since.

Sammi's TreeHouse

I’ve known Sammi for several years now and she and her partner Stacey are very cool friends.  Samantha is very cute and artistic and her home page reflects that.

One of us tells the truth, and one of us always lies.

A couple of guys I know out to Silicon Valley.  I used to work with Cinnamon at Netcom and Lyon now works where I used to work, Network Appliance.

Trip's Award-Winning Home Page

Trip was an old friend of mine I met in 1990 over the Internet (once again, MUDs) whom I later got hired at Netcom in 1994 while I was working there.  He was also hired along with Bryant Durrell (aka Garrett; see below).  Trip and I aren’t really friends anymore, but it’s nice of him to mention me on his web page.  He even won an award in part for mentioning my name!

The Homepage of Claire L. Benedikt

I first met Claire online back in 1990 (yep, you guessed it) and her home page chronicles her extensive writing career.

Dr. Mark Gellis: The Home Page

Okay, I don’t really know why I put Mark’s page on this list, but he taught a very cool Science Fiction and Fantasy Literature class I took at Purdue and I think I still have a copy of a book he lent me.

Jennifer's Yearbook o' People

While I do know Jennifer I actually don’t know her all that well but she has this very cool page that lists a lot of old MUDders that I used to hang out with online.
