One Way Road Trip from Parma to Cleveland, Ohio

We start our journey on one of the approximately 60 sunny days one experiences in this lake-infested, humidor (the remainder being one or more shades of gray owing to the Great Lake Erie spewing forth moisture aplenty).  The time is approximately 9:00.  The Sultan of Consultin' does not like to rise early, even amid protestations of many relatives and former employers.  We start from Parma, northbound on State Road (that Great Road), which of course vies with Ridge Road for the title of busiest lane of commerce around here.  State Road is certainly the most ethnic of the two.  Dr. Zhivago would feel right at home in either of these two churches:

St. Vladimir's, the first golden-spired Orthodox Church on our journey...

St Josaphat's (another lovely example)...
