Advanced techniques

Okay, so you've mastered the push and the slide.. what next? How do you truely master the game? The best advice is to get into the groove, become the game and let yourself zone out.. but that's hard to do sometimes, so here are some other tricks:

Bo Peep:

When you're on a particularly challenging level you can hover above dropping sheepies. This makes you practically invincible. If you die you will drop onto the sheepie beneath you and be resurrected. THis also clears the screen of foes... but it DOESN'T raise your firepower or your bonus multiplier unless the sheep you're dropping on is the flashing continuity-sheepie.

Use your trail:

This is an EXTREMELY risky feat.. but it works in an emergency. If you have a foe closing in on you and youre sufficiently powered up you can move slowly away from it at close range and the foe will hit the trail of little power-up ships that you have when you're powered up before it hits you. This can result in some miracle saves.

Always, always, ALWAYS have a spare sheepie on the screen, or know when your next one is due. This helps not only in sheepie saves, but when you end the level you desperately want a sheepie waiting there so you can get the continuity sheepie on the next level.

As always.. the best way to do well is to have fun. Most people find that some good Underworld techno helps set the mood. I highly recommend going out and buying "Underworld Live: Everything Everything" which practically seems to have been written and performed for the game.. but you can find whatever helps you most. Share and enjoy!
