In continuous publication for 22 years, and still the only reference source to the rapidly changing world of corporate art collecting.

No matter which part of the art world  you're in ... dealer...  consultant... collector... curator... museum director... artist... architect... framer... supplier... scholar... art historian... appraiser.... lawyer...          only one source of information can put you out in front: The International Directory of Corporate Art Collections.

In spite of the ups and downs in the economy,  the corporate art world is still vigorous, and the International Directory of Corporate Art Collections on CD-ROM helps you to see the whole picture -- what new collections are being formed and which established ones are expanding.

In continuous publication since 1983, the Directory of Corporate Art Collections is still the only comprehensive reference for corporate art collecting around the world. Each listing -- over 1300 in all -- is detailed, comprehensive, and critical to you. And its CD-ROM format gives you immediate and easy retrieval of the information on any subject you want to research.

And for the first time, the Directory is now available in four different formats -- each one designed for a different set of information needs. (Click on the link to your left that says  Four Editions   for more information of what is included in each version),  This will help you  identify opportunities, save valuable time, develop sales strategies, and target your services...... You will know the corporate programs  and  exactly what their art-related needs are.  This makes your directory more useful than ever before!

Each of the four editions includes  three complete sets of files -- in Adobe Acrobat  Reader .PDF format (for either pc's or Macintosh),  in MS Word .doc format (for either pc's or Macintosh), and Asksam .ask format (for pc's).

As any investor in the stock market knows, the corporate and business world changes constantly --  which also means that corporate art collections change as well.  When we published the directory in a printed book form, we found that between  the two or three-year intervals between updates, there were extensive changes -- new collections appearing, some companies merging with others, some collections sold, and some companies disappearing completely.

Because the Directory is now published in a CD-ROM format, we are able to update and add new collections constantly, and we have therefore  eliminated the publication of year-specific editions.  We check and update the information for an average of about 75-100 collections every month and  we add new collections or make corrections on existing listings whenever we become aware of changes.  It is an ongoing process and  takes approximately 18 months to 2 years to make a complete cycle, but there is never a point when the "job is done"  because a corporation's  strategy can change overnight!  This  updating process has made the directory a constantly growing and evolving project -- a living  "work in progress."

Since the directory is an ongoing project and is constantly being added to and edited, every month, the latest versions of the Directory files will be uploaded onto the website in a protected location, so that subscribers will be able to access the newest version for a period of one year. When you order the directory and I send you the CD, I will enclose a password and user ID so that you can locate the latest version of the directory and copy the files onto your computer.

You already realize that accurate information makes the difference in a highly competitive market. The Directory of Corporate Art Collections  assembles all the significant facts and packages them with you in mind. And there is no need to try to find the information you want by using cumbersome cross indexes. With the easy-to-use search software included right on the CD-ROM (compatible with Windows operating systems),  you can access the facts by using any words that you want to find, such as media, type of art, city name, business type, or corporate name.  For those with Macintosh operating systems, the information is also provided in Adobe Acrobat Reader .pdf format, and Microsoft Word .doc format.

Some examples of the type of information that is instantly available to you includes:

  • Ongoing collections in your state or city
  • Other collections in your industry or business type
  • Companies that collect a particular media or type of art
  • Corporations that include sculpture or are commissioning art
  • Companies with corporate art galleries.

The International Directory of Corporate Art Collections helps you identify opportunities, save valuable time, develop sales strategies, and target your services. You will know the corporate prospects and just exactly what their art-related needs are, and now with this information on disk, your search for information will be easier and faster than ever before.
