Tim attended the Shootout at Blackhawk Farms in South Beloit, IL, a two day National race.  This was Tim's first time to drive at Blackhawk Farms after three other visits crewing for Frank and Mark.  Tim spent the practice session on Saturday learning the track.  Tim was quoted as saying, "I think I went off on just about every corner."  Unfortunately when Tim started the car for the qualifying session, there was a loud knock and he knew his weekend was over.  After pulling the engine, it was discovered that the number two main bearing had spun and cracked one of the bolt holes for the number one main.  Tim vowed to have the car ready for the June Sprints.
