Frank Safranek has recovered from shoulder surgery, so this year Tim White will sit out the season.

Frank has been away too long and is ready to get his 1979 Mustang back on the track. He will use this season as a chance to work the bugs out, running only a couple of regional races. Of course, Frank, along with his wife Chris, can be seen working other races in the Midwest Division.

Tim does not have a medical condition but a financial one. He has started building a new house which should be completed just as the season wraps up. Tim will be back next year running a full schedule, so FAT Racing will be back at full strength. Tim has also taken on a new responsibility this year as co-race chairman for the newly formed Missouri Valley Race Group.
